In 2015, The Rye Arts Center re-joined forces with The Ground Glass, a Westchester-based association of fine art photographers that was founded in 1975. Members of The Ground Glass show their work individually in galleries and exhibition spaces as well as in the association’s own juried group shows.

The Gound Glass's members consist of professional and accomplished photographers working in a variety of formats. The organization's purpose is the exploration and discussion of all aspects of photography. They hold monthly meetings at The Rye Arts Center, which often feature guest speakers, demonstrations, member presentations, and critiques. These meetings serve as a opportunity to present one's work to fellow members for review and discussion in a supportive environment.

The Ground Glass meets from 7:00 - 9:00 pm on the second Wednesday of every month from September through June. Meetings are held at The Rye Arts Center in the Performing Arts Room.

Ground Glass meetings are FREE and open to the public. Feel free to join!
