About Music

The Rye Arts Center is one of the most extensive music programs in the Sound Shore area. On any given week during the school year, you will find over 200 students studying instruments, voice, and composition. Our instructors (professional musicians, singers, and composers) are dedicated to nurturing your talents and helping you reach your fullest potential.

Lessons are offered in piano, guitar (acoustic and electric), ukulele, voice, mandolin, drums, recorder, piccolo, flute, clarinet, soprano, alto and tenor saxophone, violin, and trumpet.

Awesome Perks!

The Rye Arts Center offers special opportunities to enhance your experience.

Recitals

Students have the opportunity to perform at three seasonal online recitals: Halloween, Winter, and Spring

Community Performances

Students have additional opportunities to perform at events including gallery openings, special events and at local community gatherings.  Community service hours will be extended at the same time students experience performing live in front of audiences.
