For over a decade, Nicole and Rob Weber have been actively involved in The Rye Arts Center. They moved to Rye from the city in 2012 with their two sons, William and Max, drawn to the village life and strength of the Rye community. They were committed from the start to actively supporting important “pillars” of the community. They are members of Rye Presbyterian Church. Rob coached numerous youth soccer and lacrosse teams, and Nicole served on the Board of Education.

The collaboration with the Rye schools initially drew their attention to The Rye Arts Center. Shortly after being introduced in 2014, Rob joined the Board, recognizing the significant opportunity to advance its mission. Rob served two terms, including one as President of the Board. During his tenure, he helped navigate a change of executive leadership and the pandemic and worked to bolster and diversify the Board to support long-term growth. During this time, the Board also assessed various alternatives to meet the growing demand for The RAC’s services, which laid the groundwork for the planned expansion to 25 Milton Road.

In addition to supporting The RAC, the Webers are long-time supporters of various educational institutions and local charities. Nicole is a Certified Executive Coach with a Masters in Psychology from Columbia University and an MBA from the Johnson School of Business at Cornell University. Rob is a Managing Director, Head of Business & Technology Services Investment Banking at Wells Fargo Securities, with an MBA from Columbia Business School. Their sons have been active athletes and musicians. William was a founding student member of The Big Picture Foundation with legendary art teacher Kim Tamalonis (“Ms. Tam”), which The Rye Arts Center now manages.

Nicole and Rob initially met while attending Trinity College in CT. In addition to Rye, they are long-time residents of Windham, NY, where the family enjoys skiing on winter weekends. When not in NY, they enjoy traveling north to the lakes region in NH, where Rob is originally from, and to Europe to visit family in Kitzbühel, Austria, where Nicole lived as a child.
