Opening Reception:
Thursday, September 20, 2018, 5:00 - 7:00 pm

The Rye Arts Center invites you to participate in its Second Small Works exhibition! 100% of the proceeds will be donated to The Rye Arts Center in support of our Outreach Programs including Head Start, Dance for Parkinson's, Scholarships, School Programs with community partners, and more.

The Rye Arts Center will provide you with a wood panel size 5 x 7 inches to make your creation on, whether it be with oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, pastel, clay sculpture, photography, literary work, and more! All work must be original. The wood panels are available for pick up at The Rye Arts Center's front office.

Please fill out the submission form below.

Full details:
Artists will receive marketing support via the RAC website, eblasts, & social media and are invited to provide supplemental materials for use in conjunction with the gallery exhibit. Opportunities will be given to artists to present their works during Thursday evening receptions hosted by the RAC (please let us know if you would like to arrange a gathering.)

All mediums are acceptable provided they fit within dimensions of the board (5 x 7 inches).

All works must be 5 x 7 inches and created on a board provided by The Rye Arts Center.

Boards will be available for pickup from The Rye Arts Center after June 1. For reference, we will be using the following artboard: Aa Super Value Wood Panel 5mm 5X7

You are encouraged to write a note, or something unique about the work, on the back of the board. In addition, your contact info and signature should also be added.

All works will be sold for $50, and 100% of the proceeds will support The Rye Arts Center’s ongoing Outreach programming.

Finished works can be delivered beginning August 1 but no later than Monday, September 17, 2018 (8:00 pm). It is strongly encouraged that works are dropped off earlier, if possible, so that they may be included in promotional materials.

You are not required to deliver “ready to hang.” The Rye Arts Center will facilitate.

All mediums accepted, including but not limited to:
Oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, pastel, digital, sculpture, ceramics, fine crafts, photography, literary works and more. All work must be original.
