Anne Bahr Thompson
Author of Do Good, Pioneer of Brand Citizenship Movement and Founder of Onesixtyfourth, a boutique consultancy
Named one of the 2018 Top Thought Leaders in Trust, Anne Bahr Thompson has been inspiring business leaders to use their brands as a motivating force for change for many years. She started to observe and write about how peoples’ connections to companies were turning upside down at the start of the Millennium, before many others identified this shift. With more than 25 years experience as a global brand strategist, Anne is the author of Do Good, which explains her pioneering model of Brand Citizenship® – and the cultural dynamics that led to the creation of the model.
A former executive director of strategy and planning and the head of consulting at Interbrand, the world’s leading brand consultancy, Anne is the founder of Onesixtyfourth, a boutique consultancy that helps companies align purpose and profit by integrating cultural shifts and a social conscience into brand development. She spent several years in the banking sector in strategic planning and research and began her career at Grey Advertising. Anne brings the knowledge and understanding that only comes from interacting with a lengthy list of the world’s most prestigious brands including: Aegon, adidas, American Cancer Society, Citibank, Emerson, Hard Rock Cafe, IBM, ING, JPMorganChase, Kingfisher, MerckMedco, Microsoft, Pearson, Pepsi, Prudential, Quaker Oats, Roche, Save the Children, Scandinavian Airlines, STA Travel, Stolichnaya, Symantec, ThomsonReuters, Tri-Star Entertainment, UNICEF, Waitrose/John Lewis Partnership and many others.
Anne’s writings have appeared in Brands and Branding (Economist Books), hbr.com, Brand Quarterly, Journal of Brand Strategy, Bloomberg News, The Guardian, PR News, and many other industry publications, and she has been interviewed about her mega trends on Fox Business. An active community volunteer, she is extremely proud of the work she has done for non-profit and humanitarian aid organizations, both global and local. She holds an MBA from the Darden Graduate School at the University of Virginia and has been an adjunct professor at New York University Stern School of Business’s London campus.
Chief Digital Officer, Subway
Carissa Ganelli is the Chief Digital Officer for Subway® restaurants. In her role, she is responsible for the company’s global digital strategy and leads Subway Digital, a team dedicated to transforming the guest experience through the integration of digital tools and an omni-channel strategy.
With more than 20 years of digital experience, Carissa manages all aspects of Subway Digital, including product innovation and management, and digital marketing.
Carissa joined Subway as Vice President of Marketing Technology in 2016. Prior to this, Carissa was CEO and founder of LightningBuy, a mobile commerce platform that converts mobile traffic to revenue, and held several digital marketing and strategy positions with top companies such as Digitas, enews.com and Coopers & Lybrand Consulting.
Carissa has a Bachelor of Arts from Bryn Mawr College and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Head of Payer Engagement, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals
Laura Randa M.B.A. is currently Head of Payer Engagement at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals for over the last four years. She is a fairly new resident to Rye in 2015 when she moved here with her husband, Brian and her almost 16 year old twins, Lauren and Christopher. Leveraging a lifelong passion for science and her entrepreneurial spirit, she has works endlessly with her CEO, Leonard Schleifer to build partnerships with our payer partners while establishing fair pricing, access and patient affordability of Regeneron products. Laura has spent 20 years in pharmaceutical or biotech company in the payer world focusing on payer strategic planning, execution of fair pricing, contracting, health economics, sales and marketing programs. Laura was recognized as one of the PharmaVoice 100 most inspiring people in the life science industry.
Chief Communications Officer, JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Trish Wexler is Chief Communications Officer for Chase, the retail arm of JPMorgan Chase. Trish and her team protect and enhance the reputation of Chase and its leaders, ensure its employees are informed and inspired, and bring the Chase brand to life internally and externally. In this role, Trish oversees media relations, public affairs, internal communications, and social media, and serves as the primary media spokesperson for the business.
Trish, who joined the firm in August 2013, has worked in crisis communications and public affairs for nearly 20 years specializing in financial services legislative and regulatory issues. Most recently, Trish was a Senior Partner at VOX Global, a public affairs firm she helped to build.
Trish graduated from the University of Richmond where she studied International Studies, Japanese and Mathematics. She lives in Rye, New York with her husband and two sons.
