Pepsico’s Donald M. Kendall Sculpture Garden

Purchase, NY
This remarkable outdoor sculpture collection is situated on the 168-acre campus of Pepsico’s world headquarters in Purchase, NY. The elegant landscape was designed  by famed landscape architect Russell Page in the early 1980’s and includes a naturalistic lake with a fountain, wooded paths, expansive lawns, and reflecting pools with a pavilion. The sculpture collection includes monumental works by major modern sculptors like Auguste Rodin, Henry Moore, Alexander Calder, and Louise Nevelson. The grounds have been closed to the public for 5 years and were recently reopened, though on a limited basis. Lots of walking, wear comfortable shoes.

Tours are led by Margot Clark-Junkins, M.A., History of Design & Curatorial Studies, Parsons School of Design/Cooper-Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, with Eye on Art Co-Chair Sian Roath.
