What makes the Beatles' music so timeless? Find out in this class which will take a closer look at the songs of Lennon and McCartney. The class will focus on a song from each of the Beatles' major creative periods, looking at lyrics, melody, harmony, and rhythm.

Classic Rock Exploration-Teens/Adults
Saturday, January 23 and/or February 6
1:00 - 4:00 pm
This workshop will focus on exploring cover tunes of the late 60’s and early 70’s. Open to guitarists, bassists, keyboardists and vocalists.

You’re In A Band-Ages 10-13
Friday, January 15
7:00 - 10:00 pm
Create your own song in “record” time. Each band member will have their own special part in playing a tune together. We will also brainstorm possible names for the band. Each student will receive a CD recording of the evening’s work. Open to guitarists, bassists, drummer, keyboardists and vocalists.

"Jam On Rye" Acoustic Guitar Sessions-Adults

Exploring Rock 'N Roll-Ages 10-12
February 15-19- Mid-Winter Recess
12:30 - 3:30 pm
This program is designed for those interested in playing rock ‘n roll, writing songs and improving musicianship. Open to guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, drummers and vocalists. Students will break out into little groups throughout the week with a chance to showcase their musicianship.
