INTRODUCTION TO THE PIANO
Age 5 (with parent or caregiver)
Monday – Friday: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
June 28 - July 2 and/or August 23 - 27
In this class small group class, the young student and adult will explore the keyboard and acquire a general understanding of reading music. Keyboards will be provided during class. Lesson book included.
Fee per week: $100 (members receive discount)

This class is designed to give the primary grade level student an exploration of the keyboard and a general understanding of reading music. It is a great introduction to private lessons. Keyboards will be provided during class. Lesson book included.

GROUP GUITAR FOR BEGINNERS
Ages 8 - 10 July 12-16, 12:30-1:30pm and/or
August 23 - 27, 5:00 - 6:00 pm
In this week long class students will learn the fundamentals necessary to begin playing the guitar. Students must supply their own guitar. Lesson book included.

MELODY AND MOVEMENT: AN AFTERNOON IN SONG AND DANCE
Ages 8 - 12 Monday – Friday, 12:30 – 2:30 pm
Learn the basics of songwriting by listening to the recordings of well known songwriters. Students will explore lyric analysis and have an opportunity to rewrite words to a melody. A simple choreographed dance will be created to selected recordings. This is a great program to understand how words and movement intertwine with music to create a composition.
