Musical Theatre Workshop:
You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown
Ages 8 – 13
9:00 – 4:00 pm
Directed by Michael Awusie
Learn an entire musical - lines, choreography and staging - in one week! This popular program introduces students to acting, while reinforcing their social skills and bringing them in touch with their “dramatic side.” An informal costumed production is held on Friday evening for families only (due to limited seating). Enrollment is limited! Full participation is required...students must attend every day.

Winter Recess Workshop: Yellow Submarine
Ages 4 - 10
9:00 - 12:00 pm
Join us for a fun week designed to enhance your child's appreciation of art and music in conjunction with our gallery rock n' roll exhibit Off the Record. During this week, students will be able to take part in art and music projects related to The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine film and soundtrack. Painting, drawing, mixed media, songwriting and more will be some of the activities planned. The exhibit itself will run from January 10 -February 27. Manga Week with Daniel DeNapoli
Ages 8 & up
12:30 - 2:30 pm
Japanese comics and cartoons fill our lives with imaginative stories. Have you ever wanted to learn to draw in this style known as manga? Now here is your chance. Learn the secrets to create powerful manga illustrations. Creating a manga style comic strip will also be discussed. This week is open to students of all skill levels. Bring a sketch pad.

Media Arts Week: Digital Photo/Photoshop
Grades 4 & up
12:30 - 2:30 pm
In this week-long workshop, students will learn to begin to see the world through the camera’s eye. Students will learn the many elements of photography: composition, lighting, and more. No matter what skill level your child is, they will benefit from this class. Photoshop CS3 and Elements will be used.

Winter Recess Ceramics Workshop
Ages 5 - 8
10:00 - 12:00 pm
Ages 9 & up
12:30 - 2:30 pm
In this specialized workshop, students learn the basics of working in clay, pottery wheel techniques and will focus on independent projects. Students work at their own pace, receiving individual attention in a small class environment. Older group will use the wheel, in addition to handbuilding.

Exploring Rock ‘N Roll
Ages 10 - 12
12:30 - 3:30 pm
This program is designed for those interested in playing rock ‘n roll, writing songs and improving musicianship. Open to guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, drummers and vocalists. Students will break out into little groups throughout the week with a chance to showcase their musicianship.

Introduction to the Recorder
Ages 5 - 7

This class is designed to introduce the young student to learning about the recorder and producing a sound on a wind instrument. Recorders provided.

Rockin’ Recorders
Ages 8 - 10
12:30 - 1:15 pm
This class is designed for those students who have a basic knowledge of the recorder and wish to continuing playing in a group setting. We will work on learning simple arrangements of Beatle tunes with a little mini-showcase at the end of the week. Students must provide recorders.

Join us for a fun week designed to enhance your child's appreciation of art and music.
